FG to recruit new lecturers if strking lecturers refuse to resume within one week

Federal Government will soon create employment opportunities for Nigerians who are unemployed, particularly those PHD and Master holders as government may soon sack the striking lecturers who have refused to suspend the five months old strike in the next one week.

Already, the federal government through the Supervising Minister for Education Nyesom Wike,  has directed all the Vice-Chancellors to reopen their institutions for academic activities, adding that any lecturers who fails to resume before December 4, cease not to be a staff of the varsity.

The government has also order the VCs to commence  process of placing adverts for vacancies.

Already, a report informed that the Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko in Ondo State, Prof. Femi Mimiko has started recruiting new lecturers to replace the striking lecturers who has refused his resumption's order.

I hope the lecturers will resume following this threats or will still stay at home and forfeit their jobs.

Please tell your family or friends who are seeking for job to be patient till December, as Nigerians await the drama between the ASUU and federal government.
