News: "Don't attend Ebola victim burial"-Jonathan warns Nigerians

President Goodluck Jonathan today warned Nigerians not to attend burial ceremony of anybody who died through Ebola Virus.

Jonathan said he spoke with the Director General World Health Organisation [WHO] and she said 60 percent spread of Ebola is through burial .

"Our Peoples should not celebrate the death for now. The dead is gone" Jonathan sad

President recalled that the Liberian, Patrick Sawyer, who brought the disease to Nigeria as earlier attended his sister's burial, who was also a victim of Ebola.

He added that after Sawyer contacted the disease after his sister's burial, he was advised not to travel out of Liberia but the deceased turned a deaf ear to the government plea before traveling to Nigeria.
