Ex-Ondo Poly Librarian murdered in Akure

A middle age man, Taiwo Akinyosoye was murdered in his house in Akure, Ondo state capital in the early hour of yesterday. Akinyosoye who was until his death was the chairman of the Adebowale Community Estate Landlord Association. According to deceased wife, Justina Akinyosoye who explained that the hoodlums invaded their home around 4:30 am and held the whole family hostage before killing her husband. The wife said she woke up to visit the toilet but found out that there was no water in the reservoir and had to open door to power the pumping machine. She said further that the assassins who have been in the compound pounded on him and her husband and took them to separate rooms in the house. The woman said she was ordered out of the room naked and was put at the driver's seat and ordered to drive out of the Estate with her husband bundled into the booth of her car. I was directed towards Ondo road and turned towards a bush where I was asked to closed my eyes and by the the time I open my eyes, they have left with my husband body. I raised alarm and was able to cover myself with cloth at a nearby church and when we search the area, we discovered the dead body of my husband" A resident of the community informed our reporter that the incident was immediately reported at the Fanibi Police station and said the police took prompt action by depositing the remains of Akinyosoye in the morgue. Confirming the development, the image maker of the police in the state, Wole Ogodo said the incident was a clear case of assassination Ogodo said that investigation is on going to know those behind the gruesome killing of the Chairman of the Landlord Association, He said further that the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department in the state. he was sacked from RUGIP
O in 2011 in controversial circumstances and judgement on d suit he instituted against the management would be delivered next week
