ere at loggerhead during the last year October 20, governorship election in Ondo State.


Mimiko, the incumbent Governor of Ondo State was seeking for re-election, while the Action Congress of Nigeria was bent on capturing the only Oil producing State in the South West.

Tinubu, particularly called Mimiko an ingrate and betrayal, saying he betrayed him. The former Governor of Lagos State alleged that Mimiko collected huge money from him during his trenchy period. But, Mimiko denied this.

The two politicians finally met today shortly after the late Adegbonmire's burial service at St. Thomas, Arakale in Akure.

Mimiko was dragged to Tinubu by ACN governorship candidate, Romiti Akeredolu [SAN]. Though, the party and three other political parties are still challenging Mimiko's victory at the tribunal
